The Department of Psychiatry places strong emphasis on clinical practice. We engage in comprehensive evaluations and treatment planning for each patient, dedicating ourselves to clinical care, education, and research to advance the field of psychiatry.
Our primary focus in research lies in clinical studies derived from data obtained through our clinical practice. Our investigations span a broad range of topics, including psychopathology, psychopharmacology, psychophysiology, neuropathology, psychoradiology, and genetic, molecular, and biological aspects of psychiatry.
Our multimodal approach based on clinical practice will lead to findings which will be of practial use in clinical psychiatric settings. We aim to provide insight into the pathophysiology of psychiatric disorders and develop novel diagnostic and treatment methods.
