These are contained in various individual collections, including the Kotani Collection, one of the most important collections of materials related to mountains in Japan, along with the Kita Morio Book Library and the Ishii Tsuruzo Art Collection. These collections have been made available to the public in part through digital archives.Agricultural Library Is Reopened After RenovationRenovation of the Agricultural Library was complet-ed in March 2023, providing students with comfort-able, barrier-free study opportunities with improved air-conditioning and online learning environment, in addition to new group study rooms.The library reopened in May 2023.Study SupportSenior students provide study support for basic science subjects, specialized subjects, English and report writing in some of the libraries (Central, Engineering, Agriculture). Online support has also recently been added to the learning support sys-tem.Preserving the History of the UniversityThe Shinshu University Archives were created to preserve historical materials related to the Univer-sity and the local area for future generations.
